Right, I have some things to clear up because things are getting a bit messy on my side of things.
The main reason I moved to this site is because it was the only one supported by Beta System 15.0.0 but now it can be added to Blogger which is my preferred bloging place, so maybe if I want to I will make the change. I will re-post everything from here onto that blog and then maybe switch, so visist here for more updates on the happenings, AND THIS WILL BE THE LAST CHANGE EVER – SINCE WORDPRESS IS NO LONGER GOING TO SUPPORT BLOG SYSTEM 15 OR FUTURE SYSTEMS AND BLOGGER IS GETTING A F’ING AWESOME NEW SYSTEM CALLED FROSTBITE SYSTEM, IT IS MADE BUY THE SAME PEOPLE WHO DID THE BETA ENGINE.

IGN.COM – South Park XBLA | Details

So finally Microsoft took of the blanket over the secret new South Park game which will hit the Xbox Live Arcade section in October. They call it South Park Let’s Go Tower Defense Play! Here are some details, thanks to IGN.com for the email.
IGN: So, why a tower defense game? 

Christopher Brion: When we first started discussing a new game, we wanted to make a game that felt like South Park where the kids got into a snowball fight. The idea evolved from there. 

IGN: The game description of “snowball throwing action” makes it sound like this game might be a more action oriented tower defense game. Is that true? 

Christopher Brion: This game is really action oriented. Each of the kids act as a moveable tower and the player has control of their fire rate and direction of attack. The kids can also fire-off snowballs on the run. One of my favorite things in this game is running down a tough mob and defeating them before they escape. That kind of gameplay is not possible in a typical tower defense game.

IGN: How will the four-player co-op mode work? 

Christopher Brion: In four-player co-op mode, each of the four players control one character, who can throw snowballs at enemies, build towers and design mazes. All of the kids also have their own unique, special abilities. Timmy who is unlocked during game-play for example, has a Battery Booster attack based on the episode Fourth Grade where Timmy’s turbo-charged wheel chair destroys everything in his path. 

IGN: How involved are the co-creators of South Park the television show in this project? 

Christopher Brion: Matt and Trey let us do this game. 10 years ago South Park had some really bad experiences with games, and the guys haven’t really wanted to make a game since then. I’m sure fans remember South Park Rally and the South Park shooter game. This is our first adventure into gaming since then. I can safely say that there is no unnecessary killing of turkeys in this game, but there are yellow snowballs. 

IGN: Will the voice work be done by the original actors? 

Christopher Brion: Yes. Trey, Matt and all the actors who voice characters on the show are in the game. It wouldn’t be South Park without them. Well over a thousand lines of dialogue were recorded for this game, and all of the music for the game is also written by the same composer who works on the series. 

IGN: Will the art style here mirror that of the show or will it use 3D models and environments? 

Christopher Brion: I am very excited to say that this is the first game that actually looks like South Park. Between Todd Benson (our Senior Producer) and myself we have over 23 years of experience with South Park. Even though the series is created using a 3D program, we take great pains to make it look like flat construction paper. Almost every element in the game was pulled from the same South Park production library that the television series uses, and all of the new elements in the game were created by the artists at South Park. There will be no big-headed 3D models.

IGN: What sorts of South Park easter eggs will be included? 

Christopher Brion: We’ve got 15 total playable characters and tons of video clips from the series that can be unlocked through the campaign. I believe there are close to 100 video clips that can be unlocked by completing various tasks in the game. 

IGN: We haven’t heard from this game since it was announced at E3 2008. Does its reemergence suggest that it will be releasing soon? 

Christopher Brion: Very soon. South Park Let’s Go Tower Defense Play! will be released on Tuesday, October 7th which is also the same day as the premiere of the new season of South Park on Comedy Central. We are also previewing the game and letting fans have a hands-on chance to play at Comic-Con this week in San Diego.

Halo Legends | Anime!

As you should be able to see by the title, I have called the topic Halo Legends, why you ask? Microsoft is producing Halo Legends which is a anime-style series comprised of seven short films that expand the story behind the Halo video games.
Currently there is five stations in Japan working on a different short films, Bones, Casio Entertainment, Production I.G., Studio4 C, and Toei Animation they are handling the animation stuff while Microsoft is handling the approvals on the visuals and story telling.
Warner Bros. will distribute Halo Legends on DVD, Blu-ray, and digitally in early 2010. Xbox Live fans can catch a preview of the anime this fall.

TF2 The Game | DLC Updates

Recently Activision has annoucned that a downloadable expansion pack for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 version of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen The Game will be released later this summer! It will include 10 new characters, three news maps and a new difficulty mode leaderborad or something. Neither the price or release date has been stated yet but I’m sure we’ll hear of it soon.
The highlights:
- New characters (include Generation 1 Starscream and Sideswipe.
- New characters are for multi and single player mode.
- “Expert” difficulty mode will have new leader boards.
- New Achievements and Trophies.

Futurama | The Revival

This may be old news but I am surfing the internet right now, so I thought I might as well post some news.
June 9th 2009 was the day that Futurama was announced another new season bringing 26 half an hour episodes back! The series was mean’t to be at an end after the movie ‘Into the Wilrd Green Yonder’ but now it will return. In 2010 the new series should air but no other series’ have been annoucned.

Tournaments | Super Smash Bros. Brawl

This is new for this blog, so I am not sure how things will work when I am doing this. Recently there was a Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament and a lot of people entered. I am going to show you through the finalists journey to the finals, like Road to the Finals. The two players in the 2009 finals where, Ultra_Luigi, Mr Jazzbo and Admiral_T. These people had fought through 4 rounds in order to reach the finals, this is their journey.

TF RotYPE | Major Script Update

So I was working hard and all but then something came to me and I thought, I had better change all this. So some major changes have gone on in the script so I am going to start the work again which will push the release date of the movie far back.
So things are a bit slow here so now I am going to start work again, I am going to at least put the release date in 2010 for now. I will begin work with-in the next week.

US Box Office | Bruno FREEZES Over

Right, so some bad news in Australia, some good news in the UK, but now here comes a lot more bad news. It looks like Bruno is the hit of the summer in the US because it has taken top spot on the ladder. Now, I guess families are tired of the summer warmth over there and they want something a little more cold, because Ice Age 3 takes second place. Finally Transforemrs 2 sits with its head down says “I had it all!!” and sits in third place. Sales will continue to grow and you never know Revenge may take over again, but for now, Ice Age leads TF2 bu just over $1k and Bruno leads TF2 by over $6k!
So can Transformers 2 hold on, has it got the fighting power, it has a chance, but does it have the power!
